The Winberg-McLaughlin Funeral Home was purchased by Scott & Stacy Hill in September of 1997 from Patrick McLaughlin. The funeral home was later re-named Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. On February 1st, 2007 the Cashman Mortuary was purchased from Rich and Irene Cashman, following a long and distinguished career. His dad, R.L. Cashman, Sr., founded Cashman Mortuary in the early 1950′s. He died in 2006.

Scott C. Hill, Owner/Funeral Director/Pre-Need Specialist/Licensed Insurance Intermediary
Scott C. Hill (owner) Native of Colfax, Wisconsin, has been married to Stacy (Paul) since July of 1996. We have three children Camryn, Carson and Guthrie. Scott is a licensed funeral director in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. He is also a Wisconsin licensed insurance intermediary. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and spending time at home with his family. He is a member of St. Croix Kiwanis Club, Prescott, WI, Hancock Lodge #229 F & A.M., Ellsworth, WI, River Falls Chamber of Commerce. Valley of Eau Claire Scottish Rite, Zor Shrine Temple, Madison, WI, Zor Road Runners, River Falls, WI, and English Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, WI.
Marlowe Molden is a native of Minnesota. He is a Vikings and Twins fan. He is a licensed funeral director in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He has three children Candice, Sarah, and Matthew and two grandchildren, Hunter and Grace. In his spare time Marlowe enjoys playing Texas Hold’em Poker, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling to western Minnesota to see children and grandchildren.
Larry Larrabee is a retired 3M’r. He has been a funeral director’s assistant since his retirement in 1998. He is married to Myrna. They have four children, Lori, Alan, Debbie and Jason. Larry is a member of English Lutheran Church. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and traveling.
Molly Gilles, administrative assistant, Ellsworth office. Molly is a native of Ellsworth. She been a hair-dresser for many years, lastly as a manager of the River Falls Spa. She has four children, Daniel, Andrew and Emma, and Blake. In her spare time she enjoys, reading, boating, fishing sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Karen F. Solyntjes, Administrative Assistant
Karen and her husband Paul, live in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. They have four sons, Luke, Nathan, Dane, and Matthew, who bring them joy and the excitement of youth. She has been working for the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home since February of 2015. Before that, she taught elementary school for nearly 20 years. Both careers have been rewarding and have enabled her the privilege of serving. She enjoys spending time with her family and dear friends, and time golfing, reading, playing brain games, gardening, and shopping.
